Land development requires both property law and commercial considerations and legal assessments to be taken into account.

A successful land development project also requires not only a thorough review and negotiation of agreements, such as land development agreements and land allocation agreements, but participation in the municipality’s process when drawing up a new detailed development plan, too. Land development also often means that the ownership of areas of land must change.

Landahl regularly handles cases involving property registration and land development. We offer commercial and legal solutions that focus on the entire lifecycle of the property – from acquisition and project development to implementation, construction, and handover.

We are happy to provide advice during the land development process, when drawing up detailed development plans, when negotiating land allocation and land development agreements with municipalities and property owners, and during the process of obtaining building permits from the municipality. We also have in-depth experience of legal proceedings when these documents have been appealed or need to be appealed.
